This particular build was commissioned by a client located in Newport Beach, CA and is part of a much more widespread remodeling project in the works by ICINC throughout their home. As many of you know, a great kitchen remodel always begins with a great design! Although no before photos are shown, there was actually a wall in between the current dining area and the old kitchen. After examining the dividing wall, we discovered that it was not load bearing (meaning we could remove the wall without additional reinforcement to the overhead joists). This was key to giving the kitchen an open floor plan/feel and the results speak for themselves.
Moreover, this kitchen was outfitted with a ton of cabinets all built with an alder wood veneer and coated in polyurethane for maximum protection and longevity. The countertops are black granite with a granite backsplash and a few accent tiles. All the old windows were replaced with vinyl and the French doors were added to open up the room. Bamboo flooring was chosen to tie everything together and Frigidaire, Monogram, GE, and Delta all supplied the stainless steel appliances and fixtures.
