Wooden Pot Covers

(Newport Beach)

ICINC had an unusual request on this particular project in Newport Beach, CA. What the client wanted was a pot cover that was one of a kind but also a pot cover that would serve as an accent color for front of their home (which didn’t have any color). So, ICINC went to work and this is what we came up with. It was a tricky custom build because of the pyramid shape of the two taller pot covers, the fact that the property is close to the salt air, and the fact that the wood had to be thoroughly weatherproofed. We actually coated the inside and bottom of the pot covers with Flex Seal to decrease the chance of any water saturating the wood. The circles are actually PVC piping and everything was epoxied together to make this build as bullet proof as possible. It looks great and it definitely gave life to the front of this house.
